Richard Cockerill reckons that four of his Edinburgh players should be in the frame for this summer’s Lions tour of South Africa when the squad is announced on Thursday.
But he admits he won’t be surprised if the Gunners end up with nobody involved.
The head coach believes Hamish Watson, Jamie Ritchie, Rory Sutherland, and Duhan van der Merwe have all made strong cases for selection but with only 36 places up for grabs, there is bound to be some players who are unlucky to miss out.
