The customers bombarded the NHS with complaints after spending £21 each on Day 2 lateral flow tests.
Under the Government’s coronavirus rules at the time, travellers were legally required to take a test within two days of returning.
But dozens of Boots customers said they were unable to register their results while others could feed their negative result into the system only to be told it was “inconclusive” or “positive”.
