The death toll from flooding caused by heavy rains and landslides in hilly areas of two central Kerala districts rose to 20 as rescue workers recovered more bodies from the rubbles on Sunday.

Chief Minister Vijayan said 105 relief camps were set up and rescue efforts were underway. Eleven teams of the national disaster response force, the Army, Navy and Air Force are deployed for rescue operations.
