“When you fail to plan, you plan to fail,” says RAYMOND KIANG, gym manager at U.P., a personal training gym in the CBD.
All too often, he sees people go full throttle in January, only to start putting the pounds back on within a few months. This is often a result of setting unrealistic goals or going too hard too soon. “Such a cycle only further deters someone from ‘getting started again’.”
To set yourself up for success, he recommends mapping out a clear training plan. “It will ensure that you are able to track your progress and hold yourself accountable for what needs to be done.”
