Do you feel bored and empty after completing that momentous project at work?

Are You Ready To Get Charged By Your Challenges?

If you do, fret not, you’re not alone, but, it’s vital that you start breaking away from this feeling. Tal Ben-Shahar, Psychology expert and author of Happier, calls this the “arrival fallacy”, the belief that when you arrive at a certain destination, you’ll be happy. This is what happens when you hustle towards a specific goal and steer clear from any sort of challenge or change of path for the better. So, cultivating a state of mind where you crave adventure more than success can totally develop the way you hustle, and sustain the beat of your game. Here are a few ways you can stay stimulated

Be Innovative In Every Little Task You Do

Creativity is not something you disconnect from and leave to the artists. If you’re reluctant to get creative at work, chances are you find that it’s far easier to stick with the normalcy. However, doesn’t it gets boring and paints the idea of work as something negative and monotonous? We tend to believe it does.

Finding an out-of-box solution to every problem you come across can result in the satisfaction of solving something challenging in itself and will be a prize to your brain. Yes, it can get more difficult than expected and you will no doubt fail multiple times. But, irrespective of this, with time and practice, creative thinking will be one of your biggest fuels in propelling your professional life forward. ‘Who has the time for this?’ you may ask. The truth is when you start doing things that are new, time actually slows down as you are immersing yourself in that moment to experience something novel. On the other hand, if you keep doing what has been done before, your mind is elsewhere as you go through the motions and you don’t realize time passing you by.
