By turning an unused living room into a cocktail bar, decorator Peta-Anne Stroud discovered a whole new way of entertaining
“OUR FORMAL LIVING ROOM was never used as we tend to spend most of our time in the TV room or out on the veranda – it was just wasted space,” recalls Jo’burg decorator Peta-Anne Stroud. “But, as you can’t sit outside at night in winter, I thought it would be a good idea to turn the living room intoan entertaining area with a bar. I didn’t want it to look like a pub – more like a smart cocktail bar.”
