When the owner of this comfortable Tudor style house in South Belfast decided it was time to update his home, the kitchen was the first area to be tackled.
Previously featuring a welcoming but somewhat dated country style kitchen, the owner was clear in his mind that he wanted a modern, contemporary look. When a friend recommended Mode German Kitchens in Belfast, he met with owner and designer John Herron for inspiration and advice. ‘My fiancé and I visited Mode’s showroom and saw a design we really liked. John took it from there, planned it all and we just fell in love with it,’ says the homeowner.
‘The client wanted a much more modern style in a home that wasn’t really designed with open living in mind,’ John adds. ‘I wanted to create a clear sense of zoning and have cooking, cleaning and prep zones as well as maximize storage without feeling too cluttered.’
