Loved Up After All These Years

Victoria and David Beckham have defied the odds to become one of celebville’s most enduring couples

Loved Up After All These Years

He has a wandering eye, they said. She’s miserable, they said. Their romance is a farce, they said – they only stay together for their brand power.

Well, one in your eye, naysayers. Unless the Beckhams are the best actors in the business, they’re more into each other than ever. In a series of recent outings, David and Victoria haven’t been able to keep their hands off each other – and you’d have to be the biggest cynic in the world to believe it was anything other than the real deal.

The pair were snapped recently putting on a sweet public display of affection during a visit to the temporary new home of David’s Inter Miami soccer team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Posh (45), in black skinny jeans, a black T-shirt and biker boots, looked relaxed and happy as she hugged her hunky husband and planted a kiss on his lips.

Becks (44) wrapped an arm around his fashion designer wife as he took her on a tour of his team’s new stadium and pitch.

In July the pair, who are estimated to be worth more than $900 million (about R15,3 billion), will celebrate their 21st wedding anniversary. It’s a veritable lifetime by celebrity standards and yet another middle finger to the critics who gave them five years back when Posh was a Spice Girl and Goldenballs a Manchester United hotshot.

They’ve been through their fair share of ups and downs, of course (remember his alleged affair with Rebecca Loos?) – and the fact that they’re often apart has ramped up speculation they only stay married for convenience sake.
