War Begins

Sean Bean leads a star-studded cast in a new landmark drama that tells the story of ordinary people from all across Europe who are caught up in World War Two.

This week’s first episode opens in 1939 with the German invasion of Poland and is seen through the eyes of Harry Chase (Jonah Hauer-King, Little Women), an English translator who’s stationed in Warsaw’s British embassy.
