Zillur Rahman Siddique 90th Birthday Observed At National Museum

On the occasion of the 90th birth anniversary of veteran educationist and writer Professor Zillur Rahman Siddique, Bangladesh National Museum organised a memorial meeting and musical soiree at Kabi Sufia Kamal auditorium, Shahbagh in the city on February 23.

Professor Niaz Zaman, A Q Chowdhury (younger brother of Zillur Rahman Siddique), Ekushey Award recipient Poet Hayat Saif, Professor Shaheen Kabir, Department of English, Jahangirnagar University and Professor Fokhrul Alam, Department of English, University of Dhaka were present as discussants at the event.

Faizul Latif Chowdhury, director general of Bangladesh National Museum presided over the discussion.

A number of artists, educationists, litterateurs, researchers, cultural and media personalities attended the event.
