We Say: Everything That a Mini Is With Everything You Would Want From an Everyday Car, That’s the Clubman for You
Let’s dive right into this. What’s the Clubman? It is a wider, longer Mini Cooper. Essentially, it is the Cooper in station wagon form. Now, you must be wondering if there’s really a need for a Mini wagon. And I’m here to tell you that, now that I’ve driven it, the Clubman actually makes complete sense.
As I said before, the Clubman is longer and wider. Just to put this into perspective, it is 403mm longer, 73mm wider and 27mm taller than the three door Mini. The larger size also makes it over 300kg heavier than the Cooper S. The engine is still the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol in the same state of tune as the Cooper S. So that’s 189bhp and 280Nm of torque delivered via a six-speed automatic gearbox.
