Slated as one of the oldest in India, C R Narayana Rao (CRN), is a family run multi disciplinary design and consultancy firm of architects and engineers established in 1945. CRN provides comprehensive consultancy services in practically all areas of the construction business. Architecture, interiors, master planning, structural and civil engineering, electro-mechanical engineering and construction management. Apart from the multitude of housing and office projects handled by the firm over the years, it has also been responsible for several projects for the central government, the state governments and the PSUs. It has also closely worked with several multinational companies like Oracle, Amazon, Intel, Capgemini, GE, General Motors, DuPont, Johnson & Johnson and Ford.

Needless to say, a trail of awards follow its success. The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) 'Hall of Fame' Award (2012), CW Architect and Builder Awards (2007, 2009 & 2010), The Economic Times Acetech Award (2007) are a few of them. The Managing Director of the firm CN Raghavendran was also awarded the Padma Shri in 2011.

The company’s two landmark projects have been the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium at Chennai which integrated precast and prestressed technology in the best possible way. The second project was the Ebene Cyber Tower in Mauritius where the project became a national icon, won international acclaim and also kick-started the IT movem
