Celtic and the ‘Group of Death’ seem to go hand-in-hand in the Champions League group stages and once again they were in amongst the giants of the tournament
CELTIC’S Champions League group-stage campaign got off to a nightmare start as they were dealt a harsh lesson by a Lionel Messi-inspired Barcelona in a 7-0 loss at the Camp Nou.

Against all expectations, Celtic took the lead three times in the game, but they were pegged back every time by Pep Guardiola’s City side, who failed to win for the first time in 11 games under him.
