The National Lotteries Board (NLB) is celebrating 40 years of operation this year. The company has remained successful despite erratic elements such as forgeries, competition, technological changes, and varying market forces. Mohan Wijesinghe, the Executive Director, speaks about the NLB's operations, the many advances it has made in the past years, and the new online lottery system.

Dr Rajitha Senaratne, Minister of Lands, warns that political indecision would be disastrous to a country that has just entered the path of peace and that there is a strong chance of Sri Lanka becoming isolated if political theatrics take precedence over prudent political action.

Mahinda Rajapaksa, Opposition Leader of the Sri Lankan Parliament, speaks of the evolution of Sri Lanka's politics, power sharing between the two main parties, and formulating a common agenda for at least a specific period to prevent separatist elements from gaining the upper hand.

Sajith Premadasa, Deputy Minister of Health, is an advocator of an all-party effort to rebuild the nation and urges all political parties to forgo their pretty party agendas to serve the motherland in her hour of need.

Wimal Weerawansa, the JVP's Group Leader, discusses an economic, political, and social agenda that needs to be introduced without delay to unite and steer a country that has been troubled by bad politics, separatist goals, and imprudent economic policies.
