January was super exciting. After an intense November-December of accepting and sorting entries for the TRENDS Awards for Architecture & Design 2015, this past month was time to organize and meet the juries.Because of the volume of the entries received this year, we had to instate a pre-jury before the main jury deliberated. I cannot stress enough on the absolute coolness of our pre-jurors this year – Salil Ranadive, Rajiv Kasat, Akbar Biviji and Nina Puri; for accommodating our last minute request, and also for their unbroken enthusiasm of carefully looking at 1100+ entries over two days. That was hard work. And our many thanks to Kamal Malik, Gurjit Matharoo, Sonal Sancheti, Alfaz Miller, Rahul Gore and Sameep Padora for a very exciting and interesting final jury deliberation. Debates, disagreements, laughter and discussions filled up the day, and we will soon be unveiling the results of the TRENDS Awards 2015.
