We would like you to draw inspiration from some of the bright, cheery designs featured in this issue. There is a sense of vibrancy in these projects making for happy & playful environment. In all there interiors, colour is not merely used as embellishment, but actually defines spaces. All the spaces featured this time use colour to some measure and creativity in large doses.
Sandy’s Tower, Bhubaneswar a striking bold structure, has been well conceptualized and designed by Ar. Kavi jain & his team of Nirman, keeping in mind taking the luxury to a new height and to give the hotel an appearance like no other. The hotel whispers class & elegance with a tough of edge, sharp boldness and confidence.
Ar. Girdhar Agrawal of ‘The Creative Architects’ has been creating practical designs, thus making his designs more user friendly, sustainable and complete in all respects, working purely as ‘different needs-different solutions’, as is evident in their projects.
The design approach of ‘N Bar & Grill’, a fine dining restaurant, designed by designer Sumessh Menon of Mumbai, has been a reflection of the restaurant’s cuisine-fusion Indian and European, so while these are no typical Indian motifs in sight, he adapts indigenous materials and techniques across the interior which has a distinctly western sensibility.
Trends in the architectural & interior design world have developed greater synthesis with the fashion world. People are increasingly aware that anything in their home makes a statement about them. Design is all about re-enforcing individuality now, so says Mr. Jitender Pal in his article ‘Bold Interior Design Trends’ ; while designer Ankush Aggarwal of ANSA Interiors, suggests some intelligent ways to use ‘Orchid Colour, a colour of royalty, it definitely has luxury in its aura.
