Most of the evils that exist today - inequality in society and economy, environment degradation and ecological imbalance, violence, war, terrorism, threats of nuclear weapons - are the direct result of man's insatiable greed. His desire of becoming bigger than others has changed the destiny of mankind.
It is a matter of pride to feature the award-winning work of Ar. Stefan Krummeck of Farrells Hong Kong, who is renowned for designing award-winning buildings and master plans that have shaped towns & cities throughout the world. He was most recently awarded the ARCASIA Award for Architecture - Gold Medal 2017 for his vibrant and sustainable architecture project ‘Kennedy Town Swimming Pool’ a bold civic statement, for the best designed Public Amenity Buildings-Institutional in Asia.
I am thrilled to present one more ARCASIA Award for Architecture - Gold Medal 2017 winning project ‘Hill Lodge’ designed by Ar. Rujnumporn Keskasemsook of Sook Architects, Bangkok, Thailand, for the best designed Public Amenity Buildings-Resort in Asia. The layout & planning was done so carefully in order to design and locate buildings to accommodate the existing trees.
Architect Hiten Kothari, known for creating outstanding interiors, has created a magical space in his signature style, combining classic and modern influences with practical edge. The house is a mix of contemporary and Indian fusion décor style. The ambience of décor is distinctively different. The settings are magnificent and soothing, filled with comfort & privacy.
The young and talented Ar. Himanshu Chandrakar, has created a separate niche for himself. While designing the office of Gaurav Promoters and Builders in Raipur he ensured maximum space ergonomics and electrifying ambience and at the same time produces a contemporary and functional workplace.
