The year 2017 celebrates the 45th anniversary of the establishment of full diplomatic relations between India and Vietnam. It also marks the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Strategic Partnership Agreement. In September last year, India and Vietnam elevated this strategic partnership to a comprehensive strategic partnership. It has been an interesting journey spanning five decades of multiple high level visits and diplomatic exchange, to build the core of the bilateral relationship.
