Desh 17 May, 2021 issue is dedicated to the iconic poet and thinker Shankha Ghosh. A towering literary figure and a doyen of modern Bengali poetry, Shankha Ghosh was an intrinsic part of Bengal’s cultural and moral psyche. In his poetry he struck a beautiful balance between the personal and the social, with himself emerging as a guardian and intellectual conscience of Bengali society at large.
