June is the month dedicated to the Sacred Heart and our Editor recalls a poignant memory which demonstrated the importance of the Sacred Heart lamp in the Irish family home. It Happened This Month looks at the apparitions of Our Lord to Margaret Mary Alacoque between 1673 and 1675 in Paray le Monial. Ray Hughes tells us why his favourite hymn, fittingly, is ‘Sweet Heart of Jesus’.
