In the family section we look at the problems of expectations in marriage, and lactose intolerance and burnout are our health focus areas. New writer, Hennie du Toit, publishes his 1st short story.

Wild Sunshine's 9th edition is looks at natural ways to diagnose and cure breast cancer, coping with life-threatening illness in the family and overcoming grief. We visit child artist and cancer survivor McKaylin Stolz, community worker Thandisizwe Matebese,  cultural activist and writer Danile Mohlamme, and shoemaker Walter George. 
We armchair travel to Umngazi River Bungalows and Spa (SA Wild Coast), Croatia's Plitvice Lakes National Park, and Indonesia's Kelimutu Lake. 
In Trends, we look at ladies evening wear this season and show real-life readers at their Matric Farewell (US Prom). 
We discuss the Covid Economy and plight of Somali Refugees in Actuality.

Wild Sunshine celebrates Heritage and National Braai Day with a feast of braai recipes that doesn't break the bank. We talk to an MP, the Honourable Mr Steven Swart, who visited Port Elizabeth in September. The city is also our local travel feature in this edition and the bucket list takes us to the sights of ancient Egypt that still holds generations in awe. We chat to Lucia Prinsloo, Deon Meyer and Jan Vermeulen, renowned SA authors who attended the Jeffreys Bay Readfest, and father and son restaurateurs Ashley and Christopher Stoltz, the brains behind Ambrosia Restaurant in Uitenhage. In our marriage column, Adelle Gascoyne talks about manners that can make or break a marriage, and Rina Badenhorst deals with nonverbal communication and co-parenting in the lifeskills and parenting columns. 
Being the Heritage Edition,  Donavan Christians  looks at the current debate around Cape independence and also gives us insight into the work of Hannah's Arms, a PE-based nonprofit organization that provides care for abandoned babies and toddlers. 
As always, we end the edition with a great creative line-up of poetry, short story and photographic portfolio. The latter features the work of Coast and Karoo photographer, Rian Fourie.

This is our Women's month edition and feature a few articles specifically for women. We visit filmmaker Susan Scott, community worker  Lynette Gouws and baker Nikki Foot. Prisca shows us the wonder of Raja Ampat in Papua, Indonesia, and Adelle shares her experience of  "Captaining her own holiday' on a Knysna houseboat. This months bucket list is the extraordinary annual event in Namaqualand when the desert blooms after seasonal rains. Our test kitchen will tempt your tastebuds with budget-beating cob loaf dishes that are wholesome and satisfying. In marriage, we look at the basic how-to of forgiveness, and in parenting Rina talks about grandparenting. As always we end with a great creative corner.

Wild Sunshine is a lifestyle magazine published by Wild Sunshine Media NPC. This edition is our youth edition. We travel to the International Space Station,  Libya, and Oudtshoorn in South Africa's Karoo - the ostrich capitol of the world. On our bucket iist is festival hopping in Bali. For the young ones we have chocolate recipes so easy kids can make them and we look at party trends for kids for 2020. Our marriage article is about remedies for a lazy spouse (and divorce is NOT on the list), while in parenting we look at study methods for children. This month, we visit filmmaker Reinier Smit and entrepreneur Matthew Small in Cape Town and female entrepreneur Sjani Human in Port Elizabeth. In the craft article we have a play dough recipe and cellphone decorating and for the lovers of our creative writing, we have two short stories this month. Forever by Anil Polton and The Silent Watcher by Adelle Gascoyne. Both these writers are members of the WGSA (produced performance writers).

This edition is our wedding and Father's Day edition.

We kick off our Mother's Month edition with ways to spoil mom and ideas and recipes for Breakfast in Bed.  We visit author Rina Badenhorst, artist Martiza du Preez and Neethling Practitioner Cyndi Gilbey. Join us for armchair travelling and daydreaming to Sutherland, a stargazing haven in the Southern Hemisphere, and magical Sicily. Donovan looks at a new project to study the universe and the Global Food Vault, whilst Adelle gets crafty with a living window garden and egg box roses, and milk baths. In parenting we learn a few lessons from trees and Adelle shares 6 ways to heal (or prevent) loneliness in marriage. 
To round off this edition we have a poem and short story tying in  with the mother and stars theme.

Wild Sunshine Media is delighted to bring you our 3rd edition of Wild Sunshine magazine. We want all our readers to be safe, healthy and sane during the lockdown period and so we offer you articles to easy the seclusion. We have an article to make fabric masks, making home-made bread and even how to make bread without flour. We didn't run our creative writing competitions this month (no one submitted as the world seems topsy-turvy at this time), but instead offer you more short stories than usual from staff and guest writers to cheer you up. 
We visit award-winning screenwriter Ben Johnson this month, and artists Jacqui Holmes (stained glass) and Retha Tervit (painter/jeweller). Donovan delights us with a tale of virtual travel and you'll armchair travel to Komodo Island with Prisca, Petra with me, and to Stormsriver Mouth with Carla. One of the highlights of this months magazine is a sneak peek into the photographic portfolio of Zoe Smereczansky! 
The marriage column looks at coping with disaster and in parenting we talk about gaming as a way to create jobs in 4IR. As always, we hope to inspire, encourage and delight every family member.

This month Wild Sunshine brings an exciting mix of heroes, artists and entrepreneurs, along with our usual columns. For the 1st time we also include a video clip with an article showing pole-dance athlete, Tharene Windsor, in action.  We spend time with SA charity Heartlines' Brian Helsby and Life Vision Uganda's Godfrey Buwemba. Our bucket list is the Aurora's, both north and south. Donovan gives us insight in lunar gardening (gardening according to moon cycles) and we introduce a few new poets and a storyteller in the poetry corner and this month's short story. Prof Adelle Gascoyne writes about money in marriage and how to sift through one's values to navigate the money waters well with one's spouse. We take a look at Aquamarine, the March birthstone, the benefits of vodka and how to use it.  Adding a bit of glamour we report on the Muse Awards, the SA screenwriters awards. Our travels take us on adventure in Graskop Gorge, Kuala Lumpur and Tumpak Sewu waterfall in Indonesia. We feature trending hairstyles and swimsuits, for when the coast is clear for us to enjoy fun in the sun after the Covid-19 scare. A fan recently wrote to tell us this magazine has something for everyone. It's a family magazine we hope you will enjoy reading and re-read in years to come.
