Die wild- asook die jagbedryf is deel van ons landbousektor en ons boere en daarom was ’n dag soos Swart Maandag ’n bewys dat alle Suid-Afrikaners kán saamstaan vir ’n saak wat ons almal na aan die hart lê. So ook het die georganiseerde wildbedryf, verteenwoordig deur Wildbedryf SA, ’n boodskap van positiwiteit vir die bedryf gehad en gesê dat die verskillende rolspelers in dié bedryf nie in afsonderlike silo’s doeltreffend kan optree nie. Individue en organisasies in die teel-, jag-, toerisme- en produksektore van die wildbedryf se waardeketting moet saamwerk om die bedryf se regmatige plek binne die landbou-ekonomie te versterk. Dit beteken die antwoord vir wildboere lê daarin om binne die waardeketting te diversifiseer.
