We are officially in Spring, although the weather still seems to be in the chapter of winter! Not that we are complaining, the rain is very welcome, and I think we are just all very excited for the warmer months to come.

Since the weather is changing we decided to investigate glamping! Camping might still be a bit adventurous for the last bit of winter but camping in style aka glamping is a more comfortable alternative for those who doesn’t want to be cooped up indoors.

This month we give thanks to our wonderful mothers. I recently had the privilege of becoming a mother myself and WOW, what a blessing it is indeed!

Life in itself, makes me appreciate my own mother so much more. Unbelievable, isn’t it? 2016 is almost over, and after a long year of waiting, the holiday’s finally more than a yearned-for fantasy! The festive buzz is thick in the air, and everyone’s dashing to get their last few affairs sorted before they can kick back for the year.

And, honestly, what better place to spend the holiday than South Africa? From our glitzy city centres, our sunny shorelines, to our sprawling expanses of natural beauty, there’s just so much to choose from when it comes to your next holiday spot! Of course, being high summer, many people will be spending this particular holiday down by the seaside.

In that spirit, we’ve taken a look at some of the South African shore’s lighthouses. We’ve also made a stopover in the internationally renowned surf spot, Jeffrey’s Bay. Those of you who’d prefer to stay dry this holiday, can join us on our trip further inland, down to the gorgeous historical town of Tulbagh. The nature lovers can come with us to soak up the nation’s natural splendour down at Seweweekspoort Pass.

If you’d like to venture beyond the borders of our diverse nation, we’ve also explored Tanzania, and sampled life on board one of Opulent Living Cruise’s ships.

November’s here, and how the year’s just sped by! We’re two months away from kicking off 2017; and we’re all about helping you make sure that you don’t waste a moment of these last two months!

We’re always on about new years’ resolutions; but what about end of year resolutions? Think up a few now – what are some things you really want to see yourself getting done by the time this year is out?

This month, we’ve taken a trip down to the shining shorelines of South Africa, and investigated some of its world-famous Blue Flag beaches, as well as the enchanting village of Chintsa on the Eastern Cape coast. We’re all looking forward to some sun-soaked fun this month; but please remember to be environmentally responsible this holiday, and clean after yourself. We all want to come back to a beach that’s as beautiful as we left it next year.

Of course, if the shoreline isn’t your scene, we’ve also popped over to the gorgeous Western Cape town of Greyton – “Little England”, as it’s sometimes known – and the gorgeous expanse of natural wonder that is the Bavianskloof.

And of course, as usual, we’ve also paid a visit to a few of the many fine accommodation instructions found across the country, and picked out a variety of ways in which you – and the family – might entertain yourselves this month.
