Fall fashion and art are always high on our list this time of year. In this issue, we bring you 16 pages of amazing fashion photography by Natasha Kertes. “Youthful Bliss” focuses on a young man with such a graceful youth but with an artistic edge, and it is a pure viewing pleasure. An exciting twist for our fashion pages was when Kertes decided to leave town and go to Paris to shoot our women’s fashion feature “Paris Blues.” Despite the hardships and/or blues that Paris has recently faced, we focus on the beautiful blues that still win our hearts in the fall months from one of the leading cities in fashion.

Just over a year ago, we met photographer Karen Bystedt at her art opening here in West Hollywood. We fell in love with her work, but we also fell in love with her story. In short, she shot Andy Warhol in college … and lost the negatives. Over the course of living life, she also lost herself, but in the end, she found both.

W caught wind of another artist we were all too familiar with, and who made perfect sense to be included in this issue. Musician and lead singer of the rock band Incubus Brandon Boyd has a new artistic endeavor—a jewelry collaboration with designer Ali Grace that you will see in stores this fall.

Other notable profiles we cover in this issue are Alexandra Von Furstenberg, Phenomenal Mark (who is a tour de force in fine art and fashion) along with Mitchell Binder, jewelry designer and owner of King Baby.
