We took that wanderlust to the extreme in this issue with a trip to a private island in Tahiti once owned by Marlon Brando and followed that up with a trek to the Maldives. The latter was a once-in-a-lifetime journey that I’ve always wanted to take, and I was fortunate enough to embark on these luxurious trips almost back to back. I still can’t decide which island was my favorite (people keep asking)—but both were exceptional. We hope that you’ll agree and brave the jet lag on your own journey sometime soon.
