I’ve known this brilliant designer for more than a decade, and his creative projects and global reach never cease to amaze me. If you spend even an hour with him at his West Hollywood studio garden — or his gallery, you will feel as though you just went on the most entertaining and exotic vacation. And now, we have Norah next door to his empire, where you can enjoy viewing his artwork and sexy design along with a great American-inspired meal and a cocktail.

Heading south of the border, we decided to take you down to Mexico, but not just the relaxing part where you drink margaritas by the pool, though we do share exciting updates on Cabo and a new retreat outside of Punta Mita, Mexico City is the heart of this section. While it’s not a relaxing city to navigate, it’s always invigorating with new architecture, art, shops and restaurants to explore at a fast pace.

Back home on the Sunset Strip, we are happy to see the Mondrian flagship eatery turn over a new leaf and become Ivory by Brian Malarkey with design touches by John Terizan of the h.wood group. Over on Melrose, we can’t wait to see what.
