and mainstream designers by highlighting them in the global spotlight.
Yet, Fall is one of our most favorite times of the year from the independent
collections, presentations/installations and runway shows to the
fashion on the street, everyone is involved in the "fashion frenzy" we
call fashion week.

In this issue, I wanted to get back to the "basics" of Livid's core principles of cultural diversity and the multiplicity in lifestyle within cultures of the world. I can say that since the beginning of the presidential campaign we have enough just to vent on. Presidential candidates that provoke scare tactics and hatred towards the very people whom they are sworn in to lead.

What is beauty if you can not admire ones individuality to be different? We are not all made to conform [robots]. The most common phase “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” why is that? Can we not compute that their is more to beauty that outward appearances? I feel as though sometimes its the thought of wanted something else rather than appreciate what we do have whether if it is materialistic, a relationship or even yourself. Not enough self love, ready to go under the knife to obtain features that maybe some celebrity has than seeing the true beauty within yourself....
