An easy summer wardrobe should mainly consist of clothes made from cotton and linen as both fabrics are lightweight with a loose weave allowing for a free flow of air. I also suggest a color palette inspired by the summer shades of nature to best harmonize us with the mood of the season.

Use clothes as a layer of protection against the strong summer rays, replacing the harsh chemicals we have become accustomed to using on our skin. Be smart by gradually adjusting your body to longer days outside filled with sunlight, fun, and laughter.

This is the time to refill on minerals and vitamins for the year with the help of sunlight, fresh air, and water - the natural gifts of life that we very much
need to live.

Black needs to rest in the closet for the next two seasons. Consider blue and gray as your base, they will work beautifully with any color combination or hue. My favorite is a mixture of blue and green to mimic the early spring sky.

Seasonal tip: Adding a touch of your eye color in a scarf, necklace or shirt trim near your face will enhance your skin tone and will refresh the glow of your winter skin. Nature gives us messages in our natural skin tones and eyes as to what hues complement best. Listen to the messages! Adapting this into your daily wardrobe can assure being well put together, thus feeling and looking great.

The start of a new year is always a good time to implement newly created resolutions for our improvement. When orange is everywhere you know it must be October. That is how nature brings us into Autumn, with color changing leaves and a new, rich harvest of vegtables and Beaujolais wine to pair with them. What a special time of the year to create family gatherings around freshly cooked meals, while setting the ambiance and your wardrobe to comfortably stay indoors. October is a very important month to change closets for warmer, richer fabrics and colors. It is the time to bring cashmeres, wools and leathers as silks overlayer. I find it necessary to always have clothes that allow full movement without restriction that is how they become your favorites. Scarves and gloves are the perfect accessory for October, don’t leave the house without them.

September is my favorite month of the year. I can still experience the full glow of the sun on my skin.
I can still continue to swim in warm water yet the light shifts into the autumn shade, which psychologically shifts us into work, school and highest productivity month. For most of us, it is a welcomed change after months long relaxation. This brings us to the closet for September transitional wardrobe; matches between silks and leather as a perfect combination of summer and autumn. I find that white silk shirts against summer skin layered with leather to break the autumn wind are most practical and elegant for the month of September. plans, reflects our level of motivation for life and all that it brings with it. Remember September is the most creative month of the year. This is the month you implement all your new energy, knowledge, and prespective into your work ethic and creativity

Indeed, August is running away and we need to feel the summer heat, complete with your favorite outfits and sports. Go outside the box. Be spontaneous, but still be smart by keeping your values in check.

This is the time to pull out the most expensive pieces of clothing of the season that  you have been saving, and to wear them as much as possible. You will have new favorites next year for the new mood, as we evolve at all times- the wants change, and so do the trends.

All the white clothes for the day and night should be worn against the beautiful sun glowing on your complexion.   Summer beats and naturally polished stones are perfect accessory of the month. For the man, all linens, and white jeans with colored shirts are best bet!  

Swimwear should be used and enjoyed. Swim as much as possible- the skin will love water during those long summer days. This is how you create balance and never dehydrate.

Spend as much time outdoors as possible to harness the happy feeling, sunlight, heat, and vitamins in your body for the dark winter days.

Live life and make the best of it every day.

In the midst of cold winter we long for summer in full bloom.

The time to heal and recharge has arrived. I suggest we spend more time outside absorbing the powerful summer light and breathing fresh air into our system.

Long summer days call for comfortable, airy attire. Finding fabrics with looser weave and softer thread give ease to our sun-kissed skin while light colors reflect the sun to keep us cool throughout the day.  

After a long winter, our feet are happy to see very little of shoes. The best choices are open-toed shoes with soft straps, which protect our feet as they begin to swell in the summer heat. A pair of flats is another fashionable option that gives our spine a rest from high heals.

Comfort, relaxation and balance between physical and mental activities are key to fully benefiting from 
the summer months. Arm yourself with a soft, washable summer wardrobe that is easty to take with you on new adventures.

Here we are in the height of spring which is the season of transition. 
Transition is always the one generating fear, avoided, postponed and full of uncertainty.
This is why I want to dedicate this issue to what change means to us and what opportunity it brings along the side.
It can be looked at as having positive side effects after the pleasantries of going through change.
The ability to adapt and have an open mind will create new skills and new adventures.
Simply begin your transitional wardrobe by combining winter and summer fabrics. You can also play with layering pieces of opposite textures, such as silk paired with leather or cotton as a base layer for wool. Next, slowly introduce lighter color pallets as the season progresses. Remember when transitioning from one season to the next layering is crucial.
Now you have your spring wardrobe to enjoy!
Challenge yourself to create new pairings for your closet every day.
Learn new words, find new hobbies or pick a sport that you will enjoy during long summer days with your favorite people.

I am really excited for San Francisco’s fashion scene. The number of top level fashion designers visiting the city has quadrupled in the last year and the fashion scene is heating up significantly with fashionistas like Sonya Molodetskaya taking San Francisco’s fashion flavor all over the world.

But no one has given a bigger boost to San Francisco’s Fashion Status than designer Mimi Tran. Her couture label MIMI Tran recently set the runways at New York Fashion Week and London Fashion week on fire with her incredibly refined Autumn Winter 2015 collection.
