Happy Fall, Fuse Family! Even as the weather outside gets colder, here at Fuse it is forever bikini weather. We’ve been spending a lot of time lately daydreaming of exotic tropical vacations, and of course, the sexy beach photo shoots that come with them! We are looking forward to several more on-location features, and would love to hear where you would like is to travel to next. We love meeting readers and discovering new models from all over the world. Sometimes sitting in an office on a rainy or snowy day can feel dreary, but remember - summer is a state of mind. For the past year and a half, I have been managing
myself as an independent model. The experience
has been many things, but mostly it has been one of
learning, largely by trial and error. I tried the agency
approach and attended every casting call fro m Seattle
to Portland, only to be turned down repeatedly for
arbitrary reasons like being 1⁄2 inch too short for their
height requirements. While legitimate agencies often
turned me away at the door, the scams got my hopes
up, before asked me to pay thousands for a portfolio.
But I never gave up. Had I quit after each rejection, I
would never have had the opportunity to model and
write monthly articles for FUSE magazine.

This month we celebrate one of the most interesting holidays of
the year, Halloween. This is one of the best holidays because it
allows us to be open and free all while dressing up for thrills and
chills. Whether you are watching a scary movie like Halloween
or going out to party, we want you to stay safe and also don’t
forget to take some great pictures in your costumes. Send us

with you all. We started this project only a short time ago, with the vision of building a community around one simple and elegant
