June is the beginning of Pride across the country, and we at Fop have so much for which to be proud. We interviewed the one, the only, EJ Johnson--a force of nature. We chat him up at the filming of his own reality show, EJNYC.  We didn’t get our fix of reality TV with EJ. Ruba Wilson, the breakout star of OWN’s Flex and Shanice, is our Featured Fop. We had a blast dressing him up and getting the scoop on what’s to come with his blossoming career.

In this issue we meet the ever-so-fabulous, Miss Fame! We chat about her love of chickens, makeup, and growing up with her grandparents on a farm in California. We accompany this article with a deconstructed editorial spread photographed by fashion photographer, Sophie Elgort. 

However, we didn’t stop there! We have a stimulating commentary by our cutting Political Columnist Kim L. Hunt, Caitlyn, What’s Good?! which is sure to get your gear turning. In this gripping feature, Kim assesses the challenges and highlights of Caitlyn Jenner’s pivotal moment of fame. This piece is followed by a disturbing look into fetishes as Dude X recounts his experience of contracting gonorrhea and later finds out that his new sexual partner-of-the-day not only enjoyed catching STIs, but did so intentionally. We continue our Featured Fop section with Henry Ng an Australian fashion blogger who opens up about the inspiration behind his impeccably unique style. We highlight the designs of Maya Reynolds and her LA based Menswear line Clade. We interview Kit Williamson about love, life and his webseries, EastSiders. And finally we call attention to Human Rights Movement in Russia with an inspiring Editorial spread by Raisa Kanareva captured in St. Petersburg, Russia, The Wondering.
