為提供最新消防政策及消防新知，增進各地消防學術交流，內政部消防署每月均定期發行消防月刊供各界參閱。

消防及防災任務日益繁重，如何運用民間力量協助政府從事救災工作為當前重要課題。政府自97年至104年，投入大量經費極強化民間處理重大災害搶救能力，陸續充實其裝備器材，每年亦舉辦評鑑工作，以表揚績優團體健全組織運作。本期消防月刊專題報導為「104年全國災害防救團體、婦女防火宣導隊及鳳凰志工隊評鑑表揚」。內容除了隆重的頒獎典禮情況，還有活動當天的餘興表演，以及災害防救團體、婦女防火宣導隊及鳳凰志工隊平時的訓練制度及成效。

In this issue

In the Fire Services Act promulgated on November 29, 1985, it clearly stated that fire department work should mainly focus on fire prevention and rescue. The National Fire Agency was established on March 1,1995 after the promulgation of the Organic Act of National Fire Administration on January 28, 1995. The Emergency Medical Care Law was promulgated on August 9, 1995, and, two days later, amendment of Article 1 of the Fire Services Act confirmed emergency medical treatment as one of the three main tasks of fire departments, laying down an important foundation for emergency medical treatment in Taiwan. The National Emergency Medicine Association held its first assembly on November 19, 1994. At the end of 1997, with the full support of the Department of Health, Executive Yuan, emergency medicine was certified as the 19th medical department, indirectly accelerating the promotion of emergency medical treatment in Taiwan.
