「天堂路」是每位海軍蛙兵「從蝌蚪變青蛙」的最後考驗，從本期起，在「我在軍中的日子」專欄有一連載報導，本文的作者是民國67年(1978)出生的役男，也就是平常網路上常說的「水蜜桃族」或「草莓族」，普遍認為這一代世代年青人，抗壓性低、承受挫力低、忠誠度低、服從性低、穩定度低、個人權益優先於群體權益的特色；但是作者以他個人經歷，用第一人稱語法，詼諧百出的Kuso述說他如何克服自我，完成「從蝌蚪變青蛙」的訓練。
正如教官在訓練時所說：「蛙人絕對不是只有強壯的身體，還要知道自己弱在哪裡，要有更堅強的心！」
