This issue, we consider the culture of good service that is apparent at local startup Aftershock, which makes customised personal computers for users with high-powered needs. Twin brothers and co-founders Joe and Marcus Wee emphasised that memorable service was one key factor for their multi-million-dollar company's success. In the same vein, SAFRA staff also go out of their way to deliver good service to the visitors to the six SAFRA clubs islandwide. In fact, a record number of them were recognised by the Excellent Service Awards organised by the Singapore Hotel Association. These 39 individuals have done SAFRA proud and also made visitors feel welcome and well cared for. Meanwhile, SAFRA is also furthering its efforts to promote conservation and awareness of green issues, as it observes Earth Hour again this year. You can also find out more about the newest interest group, SAFRA Tech Club, which will cater to fans of games and gadgets.
