Benjamin Kheng is the guest editor of Men's Folio second instalment of the Heroes Issue. Sharing the common goal with Men’s Folio in pushing the local agenda, it was only befitting that Kheng is this issue’s guest editor. Like a breath of fresh air, he delivers with the tightly curated details that he placed on every piece of work he did for the humble title – from engineering the roundtable discussion of the cover stars, Nathan Hartono, Alexander Yue, Joel Choo & Ayden Sng with creative veteran Gurmit Singh (which can be seen on YouTube and IGTV) to providing the editorial direction for the team to work on. Editor-in-chief Wilson Lim's grooming opinion piece about men and makeup on page 106 is Kheng’s take on toxic masculinity. He even contributed an original think piece on page 48, which proves that he is indeed the leader he deserves to be, disregarding political correctness to focus on being the most correct he thinks he needs to be. There is so much exciting content in this issue from Kheng’s and Hartono’s role-play of rock heroes (page 42) to the unveiling of the finalists of the second edition of our Model of the Year (page 68). The Men's Folio team want Singaporeans to be extremely proud of the talents Singapore has and hope this issue inspires you to make similar grand propositions for Singapore’s (creative) future as well.
