很多人都说吉隆坡是游子城，这里是许多人寻找学习机会和筑梦的理想城市，也是度假休闲城，来自霹雳州美罗的张氏夫妇就是抱着有空就到此度假休闲，日后又可作为孩子在此筑梦的避风港的心意，而决心在此打造爱心屋！

梦想中的事物，不一定是特豪华、特大、特罕有的；我们的梦想家居，也没有这样的筛选前提；所以我们报导的梦想家居，很多人都可能实现，重点在于自己的梦想是什么。当然，实现梦想的速度和规模的大小，与荷包还是息息相关的。像我们这期的梦想家居，是位处吉隆坡蕉赖山区的一座两层独立式洋房，价格也不算特别贵，二手价在三百万令吉以内，这个价位和千万豪宅相比，经济多了。而屋主Milly夫妇，压根儿就没有打算豪，他们要的是幸福的家园，而非豪宅。他们会看上这间洋房，主要是它地处高位，晚上的夜色很美，还有很多空地，可以让他们随心所欲地打造自己梦想中的家园。

我们这期的“梦想居成真”主人翁Wesz Chern，本身是建筑师兼室内设计师，一直以来，他都是在为别人忙碌，当他最终找到一块空地，准备为自己打造一个家时，他才发现，以自己对建筑的认识，虽然可以发挥所长，利用各种新颖建材，显示自己的与众不同，但最后自己真正梦想的，其实只是一间四四方方，连屋顶也应该是平平的简单房子。
而为了这个简单却能舒缓人心的房子，Wesz竟用了18个月的时间，自己一手包办了建筑绘图、建造工程及室内设计，才把梦想屋建了出来。读者们可以通过我们的纸上展览，看看行家为自己造屋，是怎么一个光景。

我们的甜蜜家居，则是轮到摄影师 Ken Yap出场，他眼光独到地在雪州万绕买了一栋楼房，他凭自己身为室内设计与建筑物专业摄影师的经验，并在担任建筑工头父亲的协助下，前后用了4年的时间，亲手编织了一间粗犷又随性，充满个人主义的家。
把镜头转到怡保去，我们不但把“家具之旅”列车开到那里去；也同时找到我们的梦想屋主角，它是一间既有马来人传统甘榜风味的高脚屋，但屋身却是西式风格，屋顶则是暹罗佛塔式，怪异得来又不失吸引力。
