The Qi of 2019 will not suddenly disappear as we step into the New Year on the 4th of February 2020. Neither will the Qi of 2020 appear as the clock strikes midnight on 4th of February 2020. 
 
The Qi in the cosmos flows in two rhythms - diffused Qi and coagulated Qi. Diffused Qi is active but gentle and cannot be detected directly. It exists everywhere.
