Anjali 2014 The Bengali Association of Tokyo is celebrating its 25th year anniversary of Durga Puja festival this year. We take this opportunity to convey our best wishes to the readers of Anjali. Any Silver Jubillee is a time to rejoice and be rightfully proud for attaining the landmark of stability. Durgapuja is now considered to be one of the important annual Indian festivals held in Japan. Today, the day long festival is attended by few hundred people comprising of Indians from different parts of India, Japanese and other foreigners living in Japan....

Anjali is the yearly Tokyo Durga Puja magazine. This is a multilingual literary magazine published during Durga Puja (one of the most important festivals of India) in Bengali, English, Hindi, and Japanese languages. With the desire and help of the Indian community in Tokyo, the Embassy of India in Tokyo, the enthusiastic children , the authors and artists, the advertisers, Bengali Association of Tokyo, Japan (BATJ) and many more, this year (2014) we publish the nineteenth edition of Anjali .
