Jodhpur Court Acquits Salman Khan On The Arms Act Case - Salman Khan has been acquitted in the illegal Arms Act Case by the Jodhpur District session court on January 18, 2017. It is reported that Salman Khan was given the benefit of the doubt by the Chief Judiciary Magistrate Court. The chargesheet claimed that the license of the firearms used by Salman Khan to poach the blackbucks had expired on September 22, 1998. However, the actor had used the firearms to hunt the endangered species on October 1 and 2, 1998. Salman Khan was booked under the Wildlife Protection Act and the Arms Act - sections 3/25 and 3/27 - for keeping and using fire arms with expired license. The Arms Act Case has finally come to an end almost after nineteen years and Salman Khan has been finally acquitted from all charges which were pinned against him.
