SOS ALERT! Our annual Summer Of Speed special is back! This time around, we begin with two monsters from Mercedes-Benz. First up is the AMG GT-R, nicknamed 'Beast of the Green Hell', and then it's the AMG A 35, the most affordable AMG in India right now. After the Mercs, we get swept away by Audi's new charmer, the S5 Sportback, followed by a quick dash in the luxurious BMW 6 Series GT. Moving on from German to Italian machines, Pablo gets behind the wheel of a Maserati Levante S and rides a classic Moto Guzzi V65 SP. Meanwhile, Kartik gets reacquainted with the Yamaha RD 350, this one a screamer from Bangalore-based Motomatic R&D. And later, he meets the very first Royal Enfield VAX Interceptor from 1960. As for Janak, he tests the new Benelli TRK 502's practicality, but not before we manage to take a trip down the new Trans-Arunachal highway in the all-new Mahindra Thar. Time to catch our breath. We're just in the second month of the new year and a lot of exciting stuff is already happening! Kartik cruises around on Royal Enfield’s new Super Meteor 650, gauging whether it is the cruiser to save all cruisers, while Janak has an electric affair with the Ultraviolette F77 on the track. On the four-wheel end, Rivan does some long hauling from Delhi to Mumbai in the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Keeping the streak going, Porsche India invited Motoring to be a part of its attempt to create the longest relay in the country, in a Macan GTS and we more than happily obliged. We also take a look at Kawasaki’s attempt at an affordable motorcycle to find out whether it is cut out to be a mass seller. Meanwhile, we bring you the most notable reveals and launches from manufacturers at the 16th Auto Expo, and along with that, the winners of the ICOTY and IMOTY 2023. Also featured in this issue are the Indian Roadmaster Dark Horse, the BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine and many more fascinating stories. It's 2023, and we've officially turned 24! We hope you had a fantastic time celebrating the end of 2022, and we can guarantee we had a whole lot of fun putting together stories for our anniversary issue. In keeping with tradition, we commemorated our anniversary with a Lamborghini on our cover, and this time it was the Huracan Tecnica that Pablo drove in the city of Doha. An epic battle of luxury barges was on the cards as Rivan pitched the new Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 against the reputable Mercedes-Benz S-Class. We had Ruman doing a cameo for us as he drove the Mahindra Thar to Goa for an unlikely adventure. Back in Mumbai, Keshav gets a tour of the city while squeezing every ounce of fun out of Hero MotoCorp's Splendor and TVS Radeon. We had Janak compete in the Royal Enfield Continental GT-R650 media race. Meanwhile, Kartik rode the 1955 Triumph Tiger T100 and the Kawasaki W800 to see if the spirit of an old archetype could still be alive in this day and age. It's November, and we're already nearing the end of this year! The all-electric ‘world's best car’,
the Mercedes-Benz EQS, gets the cover feature. From a luxury barge to an average person's
do-it-all-car, we have a three-way battle between the Honda City e:HEV, Skoda Slavia, and
Volkswagen Virtus. Find out who's got bragging rights in Rivan's story. Janak gets behind the
wheel of the Mahindra Scorpio Classic, and figures out that it still has the charm to sell for
another decade. On the two-wheel side of things, Keshav and Janak pick the Royal Enfield
Hunter and TVS Ronin for an epic Gymkhana shootout. Elsewhere, Hero's launched its first
electric scooter, the Vida V1 Pro, and Kartik takes it for a spin at Hero's CIT facility. Speaking of
firsts, it was Janak's first time witnessing a MotoGP race in Thailand. As always, we have a

Our July issue has the mighty impressive Mahindra Scorpio-N on the cover — there's a lot to be said for this new kid on the block, as you will find out in Kartik's story. Meanwhile, in Goa, Pablo took the wheel of the Citroën C3, which Citroën believes is ready for a French Revolution in India. Back in the 'bay, Rivan was living the high Llfe, pitting the luxurious Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 against the fire-breathing Lamborghini Urus. In another battle, Anubhav sought out the BMW 3 Series to determine whether the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is indeed the new benchmark in the segment. For Janak's daily dose of adventure, he had to choose between the Suzuki V-Strom SX and the KTM 250 Adventure. Apart from that, you can read about our first ride stories on the 2023 KTM RC 390 and the Oben Rorr electric bike. We have many more stories for you, as usual. Happy reading!

The electrifying EV6, Kia's first all-electric vehicle in India, is the cover star of our June issue; Pablo put the EV6 through its paces at the BIC. Kartik was happy to be in the company of a hooligan — the Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE. Rivan, on the other hand, had the best of all worlds, pitting the old-school Lexus RC F against the cutting-edge Audi e-tron Sportback. Elsewhere, Janak was wondering if the new Suzuki V-Strom SX was any good. Anubhav drove the all-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class (also known as the baby S-Class) in the hills of Dehradun. The Summer of Speed issue is here, and we're creating a heatwave of our own with machines new and old! We've got the Ducati Multistrada V4 S and the Streetfighter V4 S going head to head in the scorching summer heat. We then spent a day kicking up dirt and dust with the Mahindra Thar and Hero Xpulse 200 4V. The Royal Enfield Scram 411 and the Yezdi Scrambler squared off on another blazing day. Just to cool off, we rode the Kawasaki Z650RS and the Ducati Scrambler in the breezy night. Finally, we celebrated this fast and furious summer by getting behind the wheels of the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S and the Maserati Quattroporte. All this is just the tip of the iceberg, and we have many more fun stories as well. We're sure they'll raise your temperature!

Our annual Car Vs Bike special is out! We've got two Beemers on the cover — the BMW 6 Series GT takes on the BMW C 400 GT. The growling Ducati Streetfighter V4 meets a cheerful, bright green Volkswagen Beetle. The zippy Maruti Suzuki Ignis and the nippy TVS Raider duke it out, to showcase how much fun can be had in affordable machines. We got a memo from the '80s, and so we found ourselves with a beautifully maintained Bajaj Chetak and Maruti 800. Some nostalgia trip, that was. Apart from all this, we compared the Skoda Slavia with the Honda City, and the Ducati Scrambler with the Yezdi Scrambler. Naturally, there are plenty of other stories as well. Summer's here, so this is just the blazing start you need!

The legendary Yezdi has made a comeback — and there's three of them now! We've put them all to the test, naturally. We also hope you're ready for some head to head action, as we've got six such battles lined up for you. First up, it's the Hyundai i20 N Line locking horns with an old-timer, the Volkswagen Polo GT TSI. Then there's the tech-laden MG Astor challenging the Hyundai Creta. The battle intensifies a few segments above as the elegant Lexus LS 500H takes on the mighty Mercedes-Benz S-Class. In the two-wheeler segment, we have plenty of action lined up as well. We have the iconic Yamaha RX 100 dropping in on the Aerox and YZF-R15M. From Italy, we have two naked Ducatis celebrating speed — the Monster Plus and the Streetfighter V4 S. We then sit down to have an electric chat with Hormazd Sorabjee - with the Ola S1 Pro in the background. There's much more, of course, so grab a cold one and enjoy our March issue!

We're bringing fun to your doorstep thisFebruary! Our Fun To Drive Special issue has stories oozing with excitement,starting with the seductive Ducati Streetfighter V4 S that left us scared withits brutal power. Then we threw the sporty Skoda Kushaq in the ring against theHonda City. We also took three modern icons on an unforgettable ride — theRoyal Enfield Classic 350, the Yamaha YZF-R15 and the Bajaj Pulsar N250 — tofigure out which one put the biggest smile on our faces. In between all of this,we also got behind the wheel of the Kia Carens, the Audi Q7, the Tata TigoriCNG and the Volvo XC60. Finally, we rode three Heros (two Xpulses and oneImpulse) down an off-road trail and into a place of wonder. There's plenty moreinside, too, and we hope that you have fun reading it all!

It's our anniversary issue, and we're officially 23 years old! As cliched as it may sound, we feel younger than ever, and you can't dispute that when we've got the stunning Suzuki Hayabusa, the incendiary Mercedes-AMG A 45 S and the electrifying Audi e-tron on the cover — together. Speaking of young, we took the Yamaha Aerox to meet the 86-year old Minoo Fitter and his 1960 Vespa 150 (you definitely don't want to miss this story). We have a host of other exciting stories in the issue — a wheelie-training course, riding with Candida Louis, some vintage Jawas and many more. Plus there's a collection of the most riveting pictures that our photographer Kaizad has shot from last year. We're sure you'll enjoy the ride as much as we have, and we wish you a happy and safe 2022!

This month we have the MG Astor on the cover, making a big splash in the mid-size-SUV segment with its tech-laden features. Moving on, for stark contrast there's a bare-bones SUV, the updated Force Gurkha, which can boldly go where few will dare. Speaking of SUVs, Rivan's got the answer to whether the Citroen C5 Aircross can be an affordable alternative to entry-level luxury SUVs as he pitches it against the BMW X1. He also had real fun living out his boy-racer dreams when he drove the Hyundai i20 N Line. And up in the country's capital, Anubhav put the Mercedes-AMG E 53 to a real-world test. As is the case every month, with rising fuel prices across the country, we got behind the wheel of the all-electric version of Tata's compact sedan, the Tigor EV. Meanwhile, Pablo was the luckiest of us all, as he got to spend a dreamy morning with a 1947 Daimler DB18.

Before we head into the MotoFocus section, you'll see us riding a TVS or three. Yes, TVS has kept us (Janak, in particular) busy with its new machines. First, it flew us to the MMRT to test ride the 2021 Apache RR 310, then to Hosur to go around in fun circles on its latest 125cc segment entrant, the Raider. And finally, we had the NTorq 125 Race XP back home. Meanwhile, Kartik was impressed with how Harley-Davidson built something outrageously accomplished like the Pan America 1250 Special. And after all that travelling, Janak still had somthing left in the tank to go all out on the Honda CB200X. The most-awaited and talked-about SUV, the Mahindra XUV700, fully deserves its spot on our cover. This Mahindra has the potential to be a game changer, as Pablo found out at Mahindra's newly built proving ground just outside of Chennai. Next up, Rivan drove Volkswagen's heavily localised and fun-to-drive SUV, the Taigun. Later, he had a go in the updated Jaguar F-Pace before having a blast in the Mercedes-AMG E63 S. Speaking of Mercedes, Anubhav drove the sporty AMG GLA 35, while Kartik took the S-Class to its roots 62 years in the past to meet the magnificent 1959 Mercedes-Benz W189 'Adenauer'.
Onto the two-wheels side of things, then. Finally, the all-new Royal Enfield Classic 350 is here and in no time it exceeded Janak's expectations! Moving on, there was another time-travel assignment for Kartik, as he rode the all-new Suzuki Hayabusa to meet a first-gen 'Busa from the past. On the other hand, Janak was happy to be cruising on the Benelli 502C. Also, Kartik put the tiny Triumph Trident 660 to the test. And before we could call it a day, the lovely Royal Enfield 650 twins in their new paint schemes made it to our garage, too. As always, we do have more exciting stories for you. All you have to do is grab this issue before September ends!




It took Suzuki 13 years to reveal the third Hayabusa, but it took us less than a second to put it on our August issue's cover! We were blown away by its sheer speed, and naturally, we begged for more. The two Minis — the Cooper S JCW and the Cooper S Convertible — give you a perspective on how both cars are their own valid emotional automotive experiences. We tried doing the same with two Kawasakis, too — the W800 and the Ninja ZX-10R. It was all fun until we were hit by the soaring petrol prices in our country. Well, the brilliant Jaguar I-Pace came to our rescue and we took a much-needed breather from all the fuel chaos in a silent EV. Janak swung a leg over Yamaha's latest neo-retro styled FZ-X, while Rivan was eager to know if the all-new Bolero Neo passed the Mahindra DNA test. And somewhere along the way, we discovered that the Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS 600 is nothing short of a lavish mini-home on wheels. All this and many more stories for you to dig in. Enjoy the issue!

We're halfway through 2021, and going by what we've seen so far, the remaining half will pass by even faster. But not faster than the heroic Ferrari Roma that graces our July issue's cover! We also drive the 'best car in the world', the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, followed by Skoda's emperor (Kushaq). Charging and regenerating our way through the issue, the Audi e-tron proved to be a breath of fresh air as Ingolstadt's first all-electric car. And fun was on our minds as we gathered all the fastest production cars under Rs 10 lakh, and set about finding which one's the best of the lot. Moving on to the MotoFocus section, there was a monstrous Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R waiting to sweep us off our feet, and how! And taking inspiration from the ongoing Euro 2020 tournament, we had our own little European battle as we pitched the BMW F 900 XR against the Ducati Multistrada 950S. Who won? Get ready to ride down Nostalgia Highway Number 1 with our Throwback Special, folks. Among the highlights: Raunak was mighty pleased to drive a Maserati around Jebel Jais' mountain road in the UAE. Coming to our shores, you'll definitely want to know what happened at the infamous Bhangarh fort when Ruman rode a Ducati Multistrada Enduro there. Moving 1000 km south, we took two British icons, the Mini Cooper S JCW and Triumph Bonneville Bobber, to Dandi, Gujarat. Further down Nostalgia Highway Number 1, you will find Kartik's epic story about riding his father's 1975 Bullet 350 to the Royal Enfield factory in Tiruvottiyur, in Chennai.
