૧૯૨૦માં ભાવનગરના ખારગેટ પાસેના એક ખૂણામાં બ્રહ્મક્ષત્રિય નરસીદાસ બાવાભાઈએ ગાંઠિયાની દુકાન શરૂ કરી. રેલવે સ્ટેશને જવા માટે ખારગેટ પાસેથી પસાર થવું પડે એટલે મુસાફરો આ દુકાન પાસેથી પસાર થાય.
