Red, an English monthly magazine by, of and for Vizagites, was born a year ago. It has come into being with distinctive traits, a positive purpose and a definite promise. We have completed one successful year, bringing out 12 issues. Till now Red, justifying its tagline ‘runway2vizag’, has covered a wide spectrum of topics that touch almost all the aspects of the Vizagite’s life, besides dwelling on some issues which are universally relevant. After being blessed with good fortune in the city of destiny, Red has also marked its presence in Hyderabad. Encouraged by this good response, Red has spread its wings further. Aspiring to have the capital city under its spell with it has changed tagline from ‘runway2vizag’ to ‘redefines Vizag & Hyderabad’, it is here in its new avatar. Now enjoy reading all you want to know about celebrities, trade and trends, fashion, parties, lifestyle and the other social events that happen in Hyderabad, in addition to your favourite Vizag. In whatever venture it takes up Red wishes to be a pioneer and leader, not a follower. It is not just another magazine, but one of its kind in Andhra Pradesh.

It may not be a torrential pour as it is in Kerala but both the Telugu states are experiencing incessant rains, confining most of us to home. In such weather, what can be more exciting than a crisp vibrant magazine at hand along with a hot cup of coffee? Yes, that is exactly what we give you. #AdiviSesh’s Goodachari is creating sensational ripples at the box office. We could get him to speak of his journey and how he multi-tasks as an actor, writer and director. Catch him at his candid best. COWE is all about power, emancipation, progress and handholding of budding women entrepreneurs. We are lucky to talk to three leaders of the organisation, Uma, Subhashini and Geeta who are making a difference to society. J.B.Raju came to the city seeking greener pastures. He tells us how he found a sea of opportunities and how he took a profitable plunge. O.Naresh Kumar, CEO of Symbiosis Technologies is known for his health initiatives and the first beneficiaries are his employees. Despite being a dysgraphic, P.Santosh started Ken Foundation Society to conduct welfare activities for the underprivileged. This time about we are brining two stars to you, and on the flip side is #SudheerBabu, who wears his heart on his sleeve. For Anjani Shah, President, Sanskruti Ladies Club, charity genuinely ‘began’ at home. Yes, following her benevolent grandmother and mother, she has won applause, successfully carrying out many Red Cross Society projects. Running Sree Fertility Centre, the doctor couple, Pravin Shinde and Srilata broke many myths about child birth. C for Chaitanya Kumar and C for Chocolate Room! If Australia taught him the dignity of labour and ploughing lonely furrow, India gave him sweet success. We have Pallavi Verma talking of her journey with the German firm. Keep a watch for the magazine might be already at your doorstep if you are a subscriber. Otherwise, just pick up your umbrella and head for the nearest stall that flaunts red.
