അധികാര സ്വരൂപങ്ങള്‍ക്കെതിരെ ജാഗ്രതയോടെ നിലകൊണ്ട ശക്തിയുടെ കവി ഇടശ്ശേരി കാലയവനികയ്ക്കുള്ളില്‍ മറഞ്ഞിട്ട് അഞ്ചു പതിറ്റാണ്ട് പൂര്‍ത്തിയാകുന്നു. അധികാര രാഷ്ട്രീയം നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ സര്‍വ മേഖലയെയും പിടിമുറുക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ആത്മരോഷത്തോടെ 
ഇടശ്ശേരി എഴുതിയ കവിതകള്‍ ഓര്‍ത്തെടുക്കുകയാണ് ലേഖകന്‍.

കേരളം കടുത്ത സാമ്പത്തിക പ്രതിസന്ധിയിലൂടെയാണ് കടന്നുപോകുന്നത്. കടം വാങ്ങി മുടിഞ്ഞ നാടായി മാറുകയാണ് സംസ്ഥാനം. അന്താരാഷ്്ട്ര സാമ്പത്തിക ഏജന്‍സികളുടെ മുന്നില്‍ ഭിക്ഷ യാചിക്കുന്ന അവസ്ഥയിലേക്ക് കേരളത്തെ എത്തിക്കുന്നതില്‍ മുഖ്യ പങ്കുവഹിക്കുന്നത് നരേന്ദ്രമോദിയും പിണറായി വിജയനുമാണ്. സാമ്പത്തിക പ്രതിസന്ധിയുടെ കാരണങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിക്കുകയാണ് പ്രമുഖ സാമ്പത്തിക വിദഗ്ധന്‍കൂടിയായ ഡോ. പി.ജെ ജയിംസ്‌

ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്ര സംഘടന നിരന്തരം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടും ഇസ്രാഈല്‍ ഫലസ്തീനിലെ അധിനിവേശത്തിന്റെ ക്രൂരതകള്‍ അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുന്നില്ല. 2023 ഒക്ടോബറില്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ യുദ്ധത്തില്‍ 32,000 ആളുകളെ ഇസ്രാഈല്‍ കൊന്നുതള്ളി. കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവരില്‍ നിരവധി എഴുത്തുകാരും സാംസ്‌കാരിക പ്രവര്‍ത്തകരുമുണ്ട്. ജീവിതം ഓരോ നിമിഷവും മരണത്തെ അതിജീവിക്കുന്നതാണെന്ന ബോധം നിറഞ്ഞുനിന്ന ഫലസ്തീന്‍ കവി റെഫാത് അലരീര്‍ കൊല ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടത് 2023 ഡിസംബര്‍ ഏഴിനാണ്. അലരീരിന്റെ സാഹിത്യക്കുറിപ്പുകള്‍ വിവര്‍ത്തനം ചെയ്ത ചരിത്രാധ്യാപകനും ഗവേഷകനും കവിയുമായ ലേഖകന്റെ ആമുഖക്കുറിപ്പ്.

യുക്രൈനിലെ ക്രൂരമായ റഷ്യന്‍ അധിനിവേശത്തിന് രണ്ടുവര്‍ഷം പൂര്‍ത്തിയായി. ഇരു രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളിലും ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് സിവിലിയന്മാരും സൈനികരും മരിച്ചുവീണു. പക്ഷേ റഷ്യന്‍ പ്രസിഡണ്ട് പുചിന്‍ രക്തദാഹിയായി യുദ്ധം തുടരുകയാണ്. യുക്രൈന്‍ അധിനിവേശത്തെ അതിനിശിതമായി വിമര്‍ശിക്കുകയാണ് റഷ്യന്‍ ബുക്കര്‍ പ്രൈസ് ജേതാവ്കൂടിയായ ലുദ്മില ഉലിസ്‌ക്കായ ഈ സംഭാഷണത്തിലൂടെ. വോയിസ് ഓഫ് ജര്‍മനിയുടെ പ്രതിനിധികള്‍ ബര്‍ലിനില്‍ അവരുടെ അപ്പാര്‍ട്‌മെന്റില്‍ വെച്ച് നടത്തിയ അഭിമുഖത്തിന്റെ പ്രസക്ത ഭാഗങ്ങള്‍.

നരേന്ദ്രമോദി ഗവണ്‍മെന്റ് നടപ്പാക്കുന്ന സി.എ.എ നിയമത്തിനെതിരായ പോരാട്ടത്തില്‍ മുന്‍പന്തിയിലാണ് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ യൂണിയന്‍ മുസ്‌ലിം ലീഗ്. പാര്‍ലമെന്റിനകത്തും പുറത്തും ആ പോരാട്ടം ശക്തമായിരുന്നു. സുപ്രീംകോടതിയില്‍ നിയമപോരാട്ടത്തിന് തുടക്കമിട്ടത് മുസ്‌ലിം ലീഗാണ്. അതില്‍ നേതൃപരമായ പങ്കു വഹിക്കുകയാണ് മുസ്‌ലിംലീഗ് ദേശീയ ഓര്‍ഗനൈസിംഗ് സെക്രട്ടറിയും എം.പിയുമായ ഇ.ടി മുഹമ്മദ് ബഷീര്‍. സി.എ.എ നോട്ടിഫിക്കേഷന്‍ ഇറക്കിയ സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ അദ്ദേഹം നിലപാട് വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു.

മലയാള നിരൂപണ കലയുടെ ശക്തിസ്തംഭമായിരുന്നു കെ.പി അപ്പന്‍. സാഹിത്യനിരൂപണത്തിന്റെ നിയതവഴികളില്‍നിന്ന് വേറിട്ട് ചിന്തിച്ച ഈ നിരൂപകന്‍ എന്നും വിസ്മയമായിരുന്നു. രചനയിലെ കാലസങ്കല്‍പത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അപ്പനോളം ചിന്തിച്ചവരും വിരളം. തത്വശാസ്ത്രപരമായ അനുഭൂതികള്‍ കൂടിക്കലര്‍ന്ന കാലസങ്കല്‍പങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് കെ.പി അപ്പന്‍ എഴുതിയ പ്രബന്ധത്തിന്റെ പുന:പ്രസിദ്ധീകരണം.

രാഹുല്‍ സദാശിവന്‍ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ഭ്രമയുഗം എന്ന സിനിമയും ദീപന്‍ ശിവരാമന്റെ ഉബുറോയി എന്ന നാടകവും വര്‍ത്തമാനകാല ഭരണകൂടങ്ങളുടെ അധികാരത്തോട് എതിരിടുന്ന കലാവിഷ്‌കാരമാണെന്ന് സ്ഥാപിക്കുകയാണ് നവമാധ്യമ വിദഗ്ധനും നിരൂപകനുമായ ലേഖകന്‍.

കാടിന്റെ ആത്മാവറിഞ്ഞ് പെരുമാറുന്നവരാണ് ഗോത്ര വര്‍ഗക്കാര്‍. വന്യ മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ ആവാസ വ്യവസ്ഥയ്ക്ക് ഒട്ടും പരിക്കേല്‍പ്പിക്കാതെ അനേക നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകളായി അവര്‍ ജീവിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ പരിഷ്‌കൃതരെന്ന് അഹങ്കരിക്കുന്ന നഗരവാസിയും നാടുവാസിയും ആദിവാസികളുടെ ജീവിതത്തിന് പ്രാധാന്യമൊട്ടും നല്‍കാത്തവരാണ്. വന്യ മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ ആക്രമണത്തില്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെടുന്ന ആദിവാസികളെ ആരും കണക്കില്‍പ്പെടുത്താറില്ല. മുഖ്യധാരാ മാധ്യമങ്ങള്‍ അവരെ അവഗണിക്കുകയാണ് പതിവ്. എന്നാല്‍ കുടിയേറ്റ കര്‍ഷകന്റെ ചോര വീഴുമ്പോള്‍ മാത്രം നാടുണരുന്നതിന്റെ വൈരുധ്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിക്കുകയാണ് ആദിവാസികള്‍ക്കിടയിലെ ആദ്യ ചലച്ചിത്ര സംവിധായിക കൂടിയായ ലേഖിക.

കലയ്ക്ക് പാഠവും അനേക ഉപപാഠങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാകാം എന്ന 
ഘടനാനന്തര വാദത്തിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ വിമര്‍ശകരെ സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്ത എ.രാമചന്ദ്രന്റെ നിലപാട് മുന്‍നിര്‍ത്തി പ്രമുഖ ക്യുറേറ്ററും ചിക്രകലാ നിരൂപകനും നോവലിസ്റ്റുമായ ലേഖകന്‍ രാമചന്ദ്രനെ അനുസ്മരിക്കുന്നു. 

കൂറ്റന്‍ തിരമാലകളില്‍ വളഞ്ഞും പുളഞ്ഞും ഏന്തിവലിഞ്ഞ് മുന്നോട്ടായുന്ന മുറിവേറ്റ മണ്ണിരയെപ്പോലെയാണ് കടല്‍ത്തീരം. കടലില്‍ തിരമാലകളെ കരുത്തോടെ വകഞ്ഞുമാറ്റി കുതിക്കുന്ന തോണിയും തോണിക്കാരനും! ഓളപ്പരപ്പില്‍ സ്വപ്നങ്ങളുടെ ഇഴചേര്‍ത്ത് കടലുമായി സംവാദത്തില്‍ മുഴുകുന്ന തിരണ്ടി വേട്ടക്കാരന്‍. കാലം കാത്തുവെച്ച കടലത്ഭുതങ്ങള്‍- വൈവിധ്യങ്ങളുടെ കടലെഴുത്തിന്റെ സവിശേഷതകള്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കുകയാണ് പ്രമുഖ ഫോക്‌ലോറിസ്റ്റും ചിത്രകാരനും നോവലിസ്റ്റുമായ ലേഖകന്‍.

ഫലസ്തീന്‍ ജനതയെ ഉന്മൂലനം ചെയ്യുന്നതിന് 2023 ഒക്ടോബര്‍ ആദ്യവാരം മുതല്‍ ഇസ്രാഈല്‍ നടത്തിക്കൊ@ിരിക്കുന്ന വംശഹത്യയ്ക്ക് അറുതിയായിട്ടില്ല. യുദ്ധമുഖത്തെ യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ വസ്തുതകള്‍ പുറത്തുകൊണ്ടുവരുന്നതിന് അഹോരാത്രം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന മാധ്യമപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരും നിരന്തരം മരിച്ചുവീഴുകയാണ്. ലോകചരിത്രത്തില്‍തന്നെ യുദ്ധവേളയില്‍ ഇത്രയും കൂടുതല്‍ മാധ്യമപ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെടുന്നത് ഇതാദ്യമായിരിക്കാം. കുടുംബത്തോടെ രക്തസാക്ഷികളായ മാധ്യമപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരുടെ കരളലിയിക്കുന്ന വാര്‍ത്തകള്‍ ഏറിവരുന്നു. ഇതരരാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ ഒട്ടേറെ മാധ്യമപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരുമായി ആത്മബന്ധം സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്ന എ.വി അനില്‍കുമാര്‍ ഇതേക്കുറിച്ച് 2023 നവംബര്‍ 9ന് ചന്ദ്രിക ആഴ്ചപ്പതിപ്പില്‍ കവര്‍‌സ്റ്റോറി ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. അന്നത്തേതിലും ഇരട്ടിയിലധികം മാധ്യമപ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ ഇതിനിടെ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു. മുതിര്‍ന്ന പത്രപ്രവര്‍ത്തകന്‍കൂടിയായ ലേഖകന്‍ ഫലസ്തീന്‍ മാധ്യമപ്രവര്‍ത്തനത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് വീണ്ടും എഴുതുന്നു.

ബാബ്‌രി മസ്ജിദ് തകര്‍ത്ത് ജനാധിപത്യ വ്യവസ്ഥയ്ക്ക് മുകളില്‍ കല്പിത കഥയിലെ വീരപുരുഷനെ ആനയിച്ച് അധികാരത്തിലേറിയവരാണ് സംഘപരിവാര്‍. അയോദ്ധ്യയിലെ രാമക്ഷേത്ര നിര്‍മാണത്തിന് പിന്നിലാടിത്തീര്‍ത്ത രാഷ്ട്രീയ നാടകങ്ങളും നീതിന്യായ വ്യവസ്ഥയ്ക്ക് നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കിയവരുടെ ചതിയും വസ്തുതകളുടെ വെളിച്ചത്തില്‍ വിലയിരുത്തുകയാണ് ലേഖകന്‍.

സനാതന മൂല്യങ്ങളെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുക എന്നതാണ് മോദി ഭരണത്തിന്‍ കീഴിലെ സാംസ്‌കാരിക അടിയന്തരാവസ്ഥ. അതിന്റെ സമീപകാല ഉദാഹരണമാണ് നയന്‍താര നടിച്ച തമിഴ് പടം 'അന്നപൂരണി, ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്റെ ദേവത' ഒ.ടി.ടി പ്ലാറ്റ്‌ഫോമായ നെറ്റ്ഫഌക്‌സില്‍ നിന്നും പിന്‍വലിച്ചത്.  ഒ.ടി.ടി പ്ലാറ്റ്‌ഫോമുകളെ ഭരണകൂടം നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് നേരത്തെ തന്നെ മുന്നറിയിപ്പുകള്‍ നല്‍കിയ ലേഖകന്‍ 'അന്നപൂരണി' വിഷയത്തിന്റെ രാഷ്ട്രീയം വിശകലനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.




2002ല്‍ ബില്‍കീസ് ബാനുവിനെ കൂട്ട ബലാത്സംഗത്തിനും അവരുടെ കുടുംബത്തിലെ 14 അംഗങ്ങളെ മരണത്തിനും ഇരയാക്കിയതില്‍ കുറ്റക്കാരെന്ന് ക@െത്തിയ 11 പേരെ മുന്‍കൂര്‍ വിടുതല്‍ ചെയ്ത വിധി 2024 ജനുവരി 8ന് സുപ്രീം കോടതി റദ്ദാക്കി. ജസ്റ്റിസ് ബി.വി നാഗരത്‌നയുടേയും ജസ്റ്റിസ് ഉജ്വല്‍ ഭുയാന്റെയും വിധിക്ക് ശേഷം ബില്‍കീസ് ബാനുവിന്റെ പ്രതികരണം.


ഫലസ്തീനിലെ പ്രസിദ്ധ കവിയും കഥാകൃത്തും പത്രപ്രവര്‍ത്തകനും അധ്യാപകനുമാണ് മുസാബ് അബുതോഹാ. Things You May find Hidden in my Ear എന്ന കവിതാ സമാഹാരം പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ കൃതി Derek Walcott Potery Prize, American Book Award എന്നിവ കരസ്ഥമാക്കി. 2023 നവംബര്‍ 19-ന് റാഫ അതിര്‍ത്തി കടക്കുന്നതി
നിടെ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പട്ടാളം തടവിലിട്ട് ക്രൂരപീഡനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വിധേയമാക്കി. രണ്ടു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞ് അബു തോഹായെ മോചിപ്പിച്ചു. മനസ്സ് വിറങ്ങലിച്ചുപോകുന്ന അനുഭവങ്ങളാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റേത്. നാം അനുഭവിക്കാത്തതെല്ലാം കെട്ടുകഥകളാകുന്ന കാലത്ത് തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഈ കവിയുടെ നൊന്തുനീറിയ എഴുത്തിന് പ്രാധാന്യമുണ്ട്. അവയെ മൊഴിമാറ്റുകയാണ് കവിയും ചരിത്രാധ്യാപകനുമായ ലേഖകന്‍.

28-ാം യു.എന്‍ കാലാവസ്ഥാസമ്മേളനം ഈയിടെയാണ് ദുബായിയില്‍ ചേര്‍ന്നത്. അമേരിക്കയടക്കം വന്‍കിട വികസിത രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ ചൊല്‍പ്പടിക്കനുസൃതമായി കാലാവസ്ഥാസമ്മേളനങ്ങള്‍ മാറുമ്പോള്‍ ആഗോള താപനമെന്ന ഭീഷണിയെ മനുഷ്യരാശിക്ക് ചെറുക്കാന്‍ കഴിയില്ല. യു.എന്‍ കാലാവസ്ഥാസമ്മേളനങ്ങള്‍ വെറും ഉത്സവമേളങ്ങളുടെ നിലവാരത്തിലേക്കെത്തുമോ എന്ന് ആശങ്കപ്പെടുംവിധമാണ് കാര്യങ്ങളുടെ പോക്ക്. 'കോപ്പ് 28'ന്റെ തീരുമാനങ്ങളെ ഈ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ വിലയിരുത്തുകയാണ് പ്രമുഖ പരിസ്ഥിതി പ്രവര്‍ത്തകനും ആക്ടിവിസ്റ്റുമായ ലേഖകന്‍.

ആര്‍ട്ടിസ്റ്റിന്റെയും ആക്ടിവിസ്റ്റിന്റെയും അതിര്‍വരമ്പുകള്‍ ഏതെന്ന് നോക്കാതെ മനുഷ്യബന്ധിതവും പ്രകൃതിബന്ധിതവുമായ മിക്ക വിഷയങ്ങളിലും രാഷ്ട്രീയവ്യക്തതയോടെ ഇടപെട്ടിരുന്ന ഇന്ത്യയിലെതന്നെ അപൂര്‍വ വ്യക്തികളിലൊരാളായിരുന്നു 2022 ഡിസംബര്‍ 25 ന് വിടപറഞ്ഞ കെ.പി ശശി. ഡോക്യുമെന്ററി/ ഫിലിം മെയ്ക്കര്‍ എന്ന നിലയില്‍ തന്റേതായ സംഭാവനകൊണ്ട് പ്രശസ്തന്‍. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ സംഘപരിവാര്‍ രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിനെതിരെ പതിറ്റാണ്ടുകള്‍ക്കു മുമ്പേ തുടര്‍ച്ചയായി ഇടപെട്ടിരുന്ന, ന്യൂനപക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ നിലനില്‍പിനുവേ@ിയും മനുഷ്യാവകാശ ലംഘനങ്ങള്‍ക്കെതിരെയും പരിസ്ഥിതി വിനാശ വികസനത്തിനെതിരെയും സദാ ജാഗ്രത്തായിരുന്ന ആ പ്രതിഭ വിട പറഞ്ഞിട്ട് ഒരു വര്‍ഷം തികയാന്‍ പോകുകയാണ്.

മുസ്‌ലിംമതസ്ഥര്‍ക്കെതിരായ വംശീയതയെ അടയാളപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിന് 
'ഇസ്‌ലാമോഫോബിയ' എന്ന പ്രയോഗം ഏതുതരത്തിലാണോ യുക്തിസഹമല്ലാത്തത്, അതുപോലെതന്നെയാണ് 'യഹൂദ വിരുദ്ധത' എന്ന പദത്തിന്റെ കാര്യവും.- പ്രമുഖ എഴുത്തുകാരിയും ആക്ടിവിസ്റ്റുമായ രോഹിണി ഹെന്‍സ്മാന്‍ ഫ്ര്ണ്ട്‌ലൈനില്‍ എഴുതിയ ലേഖനത്തിന്റെ പരിഭാഷ.
