मध्य प्रदेश में सक्रिय सात बड़े माओवादियों ने बीते एक साल में महाराष्ट्र और छत्तीसगढ़ में समर्पण किया. इनमें डिविजनल कमांडर दिवाकर भी है, जिसे महाराष्ट्र-मध्य प्रदेश-छत्तीसगढ़ के नए इलाके में विस्तार का काम सौंपा गया था. समर्पण करने में तो खैर कोई बुराई नहीं पर यह समर्पण दिलचस्प इसलिए हैं क्योंकि 2010 के बाद एक भी माओवादी ने मध्य प्रदेश में हथियार नहीं डाले. नतीजतन, मध्य प्रदेश पुलिस को इन प्रमुख माओवादियों (और उनसे मिलने वाली सूचनाओं) तक पहुंचने के लिए काफी मशक्कत का सामना करना पड़ रहा है.

जबान पर छिड़ी नई जंग

जनवरी की 30 तारीख को झारखंड के धनबाद और बोकारो में हजारों आदिवासी और मूलनिवासी सड़कों पर उतर आए. उन्होंने वहां करीब 50 किलोमीटर की मानव श्रृंखला बनाई. इसी के साथ राज्य में भाषाई युद्ध छिड़ गया. दरअसल, ये लोग झारखंड कर्मचारी चयन आयोग (जेएसएससी) की ओर से मैट्रिक और इंटर स्तरीय परीक्षाओं के लिए क्षेत्रीय भाषा की श्रेणी में भोजपुरी, मगही, अंगिका और उर्दू को जगह दिए जाने का विरोध कर रहे हैं. आंदोलनकारियों को क्षेत्रीय भाषा के तौर पर बाहरी (बिहारी) भाषाएं मंजूर नहीं हैं.

गहलोत का कड़ा इम्तिहान

इकत्तीस हजार स्कूली शिक्षकों की भर्ती के लिए पिछले साल सितंबर में आयोजित राजस्थान पात्रता प्रवेश परीक्षा (रीट) में घोटाले के कारण- जिसमें परीक्षा का प्रश्न पत्र लीक होने का मामला शामिल है-अशोक गहलोत सरकार बुरी तरह से घिर गई है. राजस्थान पुलिस के स्पेशल ऑपरेशंस ग्रुप (एसओजी) की जांच के बाद पिछले हफ्ते इस सिलसिले में राजीव गांधी स्टडी सर्कल (आरजीएससी) के कई सदस्य गिरफ्तार किए गए हैं या शक के घेरे में हैं. कांग्रेस समर्थित थिंक टैंक आरजीएससी के अध्यक्ष खुद मुख्यमंत्री गहलोत हैं. गहलोत के करीबी सहयोगी और उनकी सरकार में तकनीकी शिक्षा और आयुर्वेद राज्य मंत्री सुभाष गर्ग इस संगठन के राष्ट्रीय समन्वयक हैं.
