Achieving half a century is quite a milestone; and Preferred Hotels & Resorts is understandably proud of it. Last year, the company clocked $1.35 billion in reservations revenue on behalf of its 650 member hotels, resorts and residences across 85 nations. It also added 103 properties globally, of which seven were in India.
Starting its operations in the country in 2002, with the Imperial Delhi, Preferred Hotels & Resorts now has 35 hotels in the region and plans to add 10 more by 2020.
