Principal of Government Arts College P T Shrinivas Nayak has been relieved of his exam duties after allegations surfaced about mass cheating taking place during the Economics paper of the post-graduate examination held on Wednesday. Nayak, who had been the Chief Superintendent of the examination center, is said to have confessed that he wasn’t at the center when the examination was in progress. Bengaluru City University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Lingaraja Gandhi said that information about the incident has been sought, based on which further legal action will be taken against the wrongdoers.
