For the first time since the pandemic, the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has decided to allow 100-per-cent occupancy in stadiums, triggering an unprecedented demand for tickets. Serpentine queues at the counters were witnesses, while tickets made available both online and offline were sold out almost instantly. Vinay Mruthyunjaya, Treasurer of KSCA said, “We received a good response to the India versus Sri Lanka day-night Test cricket match to be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium between March 1 2 - 1 6 a n d KSCA has increased sale of tickets to allow full capacity of the stadium.”
