signs of monumental growth, especially in the first seven months of the
calendar year. Investments in the realm of education tripled to touch
around $998 million, making it one of the sectors that saw maximum
funding.
The Union Cabinet’s approval of the New Education Policy (NEP 2020)
late in July, overhauled the education system prevalent for 34 years and
has the potentials to turn India into a global knowledge superpower. It
encourages the best universities in the world to set up campuses within
the country and drastically alters the curricula prevalent in both primary
and higher education.
