This month brings mixed emotions to the forefront, it is our eighth anniversary issue and I take immense pride in how much progress we have made since 2013 and the overwhelming amount of love we have received in these eight years but at the same time, we are a young publication, with still a long way to go and new challenges to conquer.

The pandemic led to the inception of Delhiites Foundation, we were at the forefront when the city and our people needed us the most.
We were supporting and running three covid care centres across the city, food and covid essentials drive for the economically weaker and backward sections of the society. We have been running various healthcare projects to organize blood and plasma donation drives, complimentary covid 19 vaccination drives for the underprivileged for the past five months and have managed to successfully inoculate over five thousand citizens without any charges.

This year has been a year of extreme highs and lows, pros and cons but the highs were so lovely that I cannot help but look back over 2020- 21 with gratitude in my heart for the high quality collaborations we were a part of and events that we hosted. Some of the highlights of the past year for me have been the third edition of Delhiites Food & Nightlife awards, fourth edition of Delhiites Lifestyle awards, our women’s day celebration where we hosted a masterclass with the winner of Masterchef India. Exclusive showcase of the new Audi Q8, followed by a brand showcase and Kashmiri theme night with Zoya - a fine jewellery brand from the house of TATA.

Also, we would like to welcome on board the noted Dr. Amit Bhasin to commence a column for us on skincare tips.

It was a memorable year and I wish nothing more than to see this magazine scale new heights and bring joy to its readers by always innovating and providing relatable content.
