There was a time when Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin were considered inseparable for Team India across formats, considering their match-winning performances. However, time has changed with competition for places at its peak. The end result is two casualties in form of Jadeja and Ashwin, who have been rested according to selectors for second time running. It is understood that word axing won’t be used for these two stars, having contributed for India in Test cricket. Their status and display in a five day game is not hidden from anyone with regular burst of wickets. However, limited over formats have not been kind to them, often struggling to take wickets, which happens to be their prime job. There is one aspect of cricket, which is bothering me since last few months. We as a society is losing temper easily and are ready to blast someone, no matter, even if he has done exceptionally well. I am taking about Virat Kohli, who despite being an inspiration, is in firing range of fans. According to cricket fanatics, Virat is turning Team India in Team RCB, with players like KL Rahul, Kedar Jadhav and Yuzvendra Chahal in contingent. Another player, who is part of headlines these days, is James Anderson. He became the first England bowler to take 500 Test wickets and just the sixth in history.
