If we talk about Group A, the battle for the semis is very tight. In Group B, Proteas are sure of winning the group while the competition for the second place will be between England and West Indies as Sri Lanka is no more a threat for the opposite numbers. Meanwhile Bangladesh would be the party spoilers if they get into form during the course of the event. All in all, it is going to be one of the most keenly contested tournaments in the last few years of international cricket. Pretty much like T20 World Cup, the Indian Premier League was also in limelight during the recent times. The auctions were held for the new season, which saw the dominance of domestic Indian players. There is no denying the fact that Shane Watson, who got the highest bid, was the deserving candidate but the likes of Yuvraj Singh and Dinesh Karthik saw massive downfall in their value. The owners of the franchises have finally realized the worth of little known players as they can play an instrumental role in leading their respective teams to victory, that too without taking any sort of pressure.
